Brian and Kari’s love story began back in 2000 when they first met through some mutual friends at Iowa State University. They didn’t stay in contact and went their separate ways. It wasn’t until 2015 when Kari walked out of Parlor City in Cedar Rapids only to see Brian standing on the corner. It was fate. Kari screamed his name and did the flying leap into his arms. They exchanged numbers but it still took them 6 months to use them. Finally, they went on their first date in March 2016. It was all worth the wait for once they started dating, they pretty much knew instantly they were supposed to be together.
Brian and Kari were wed on one of the prettiest of Spring days at The Hotel at Kirkwood Center in Cedar Rapids. With Kari’s infectious smile and Brian’s fun sense of humor, the day brought so many joy-filled moments. I’ve never heard so much cheer and applause when they were finally pronounced husband and wife. It was incredibly evident how much they were loved and how much everyone supported their union. They are the perfect match and I feel SO lucky to have been there to celebrate with them. It was such a beautiful day!
Brian & Kari – Congratulations! I’m so stinkin’ happy for you two. I wish you nothing but the absolute best as you begin your lives as husband and wife! Xo.
